Well the last few... weeks? has it been that long? I didn't really check before I started this post. Either way, I haven't been in a very creative mood lately. Or I should say I /have/ but I cannot afford to do anything creative as of current, heck I can barely afford gas money! As I had posted earlier in the summer I've been looking for a job so I can do fun things that I feel worthy of posting in this blog. I fail currently at remembering if I said I had an interview earlier this month, I'm pretty sure I had not. I was interviewed by Payless shoes store in the Okemos area, and needless to say it was a bit of a nerve wracking experience. I had also been told there were other candidates for the job and I could hear back later that week (which was last friday) or by the 23rd of this month. If I didn't hear by the 23rd I didn't get the job.
I got the job offer today! She called while I was home to see if I was still interested in the job and of course I am I really would like the experience, and of course an actual income would be WONDERFUL! So I leave home once again to head back to home in Lansing. She said the paperwork could take up to two hours, which I feel is excessive but hey, if it means I can get the job secured I will do it. The best part of it is, it's at the Lansing mall which is closer to home than the store in Okemos. I'm so very excited.
